UKRIO responds to the second call for evidence of the Academy of Medical Sciences’ review of the regulation and governance of medical research
UKRIO welcomes this opportunity to use its unique experience and expertise to contribute to the review of the regulation and governance of medical research by the Academy of Medical Sciences, in particular the proposal of placing responsibility for different aspects of medical research regulation within a ‘single research regulator’. We fully support attempts to improve research governance and reduce bureaucracy.
