UKRIO is seeking an Operations and Governance Manager to support the charity’s strategic growth and ensure the smooth and compliant running of its internal operations.
As the UK’s leading independent charity dedicated to advancing research integrity, UKRIO provides expert, confidential support to researchers, institutions, and the public. Its work is underpinned by a national network of expert volunteers, drawn from across the research landscape, and shaped by a commitment to ethical, transparent and accountable research.
This new role will oversee key operational functions including charity governance, financial coordination, HR, and internal policy development. The postholder will also work closely with the CEO and Board of Trustees to ensure effective governance, support decision-making, and help drive continuous improvement across the organisation.
The position is ideal for a proactive, highly organised individual with experience in operations or governance—particularly within a charity context—who is eager to help build strong internal systems that support UKRIO’s expanding impact.
Key details:
- Permanent, full-time position
- Salary: £42,000–£45,000, depending on experience
- Hybrid role, with attendance at UKRIO’s London Euston office required on Mondays and Wednesdays
UKRIO welcomes applicants with at least two years of relevant experience and a strong understanding of charity governance. Additional experience in finance, HR, data protection, or health and safety is desirable.
