BMJ reports on a systematic review on observer bias in randomised clinical trials

The BMJ reports a systematic review which finds significant bias in trials which have non-blinded outcome assessors compared with those which do have blinded outcome assessors. This bias leads to unduly optimistic assessment of treatments.
