Launch of UKRIO’s Stakeholder Survey 2024

The UK Research Integrity Office (UKRIO)’s mission is to promote good research practice and prevent misconduct. Since 2006, the charity has provided independent and expert services to help enhance good research practice; address mistakes, questionable practices, and fraud; and improve the culture and systems of UK research. UKRIO covers all research sectors: higher education, the NHS, private sector organisations and third sector – wherever the research affects the public good.

We are currently considering how we can better support the research community and are inviting stakeholders from across the ecosystem to provide feedback on our work to date, alongside input into the key priorities and challenges for research integrity going forward.

Please support us by completing this short stakeholder survey. In doing so, you will help us to (1) assess the impact of our resources and services and (2) shape our future work programme so we can better meet the research integrity needs of the UK research community.

We thank you in advance for your time and valuable input.

How long will the survey take to complete?
The survey should take around 10-20 minutes to complete but will vary depending on the amount of information and level of detail you choose to provide.

When is the deadline to complete the survey?
The survey will remain open until the 24 May.

Is the survey anonymous?
Yes. While we will ask some questions about your role and organisation so that we may better understand your response, we will not ask for any identifying information.

Are any questions mandatory?
In order to ensure you are appropriately routed through the survey, some of our questions are mandatory to answer. These questions will also provide an ‘I don’t know’ or ‘prefer not to say’ option.

All personal data and information that you share will be held confidentially by UKRIO, in accordance with the requirements of the UK General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and Data Protection Act 2018. For more information about how we store and use your data, please see our privacy statement.
