Khanisa Riaz joins UKRIO as Programmes Manager

UKRIO is pleased to announce the appointment of Khanisa Riaz as its new Programmes Manager.

In this role, Khanisa will play a key part in delivering UKRIO’s growing programme of work. She will oversee day-to-day programme delivery, manage projects across the organisation, and work closely with colleagues, partners, and UKRIO’s expert community to develop high-quality, evidence-based resources for the research community. Her work will support the delivery of practical guidance, training, events, and other initiatives that help strengthen research integrity across the UK.

Khanisa is a strategic and values-led leader with more than ten years of experience delivering impactful programmes across the public, research, data science, and artificial intelligence sectors. She has led cross-functional initiatives, managed complex stakeholder relationships, produced strategic reports informed by data analysis, and designed and delivered training programmes. Her experience also includes implementing institutional governance frameworks and contributing to national initiatives to improve equity in research and technology.

Khanisa is passionate about delivering meaningful change through collaborative working and practical solutions. She looks forward to contributing to UKRIO’s mission by supporting researchers and organisations to uphold the highest standards of research integrity.
