Juliana Ajibade joins UKRIO as Operations and Governance Manager

We’re pleased to announce the appointment of Juliana Ajibade as UKRIO’s new Operations and Governance Manager. In this pivotal new role, Juliana will help drive UKRIO’s strategic growth and strengthen our internal operations, enabling us to expand our work and deepen our support for the research community.

Juliana brings over a decade of experience in operations and project management within the charity sector, where she has driven strategic delivery, operational excellence, and inclusive programme growth. With a background in psychology and counselling, she takes a values-led, people-centred approach to leadership – fostering collaboration across teams and stakeholders to achieve shared goals.

She has worked with both large and small charities, supporting senior leadership teams to deliver strategic priorities, launch new services, and strengthen internal processes. Passionate about mission-driven work, Juliana is committed to enabling sustainable growth, improving efficiency, and delivering impact with integrity.

In her role at UKRIO, Juliana will oversee key operational functions including charity governance, financial coordination, HR, and internal policy development. She will work closely with the CEO and Board of Trustees to ensure effective governance, support decision-making, and drive continuous improvement across the organisation.
