Interested in working in research integrity, research ethics and research culture?

The UK Research Integrity Office (UKRIO) is an independent charity, offering support to the public, researchers and organisations to further good practice in academic, scientific and medical research. We pursue these aims through our publications on research practice, the support and services we provide to organisations, our education and training activities, and by providing expert guidance in response to requests for assistance.

Working for UKRIO is an opportunity to develop a broad base of skills in a busy charity and gain an understanding of the challenges facing the integrity and quality of research in the UK. Since 2006, UKRIO has provided independent, expert and confidential support across all disciplines of research, from the arts and humanities to the life sciences. We work with universities, NHS Trusts, other research organisations, Government, regulatory and professional bodies, as well as with our counterparts in other countries.

Our small team works with the Trustees and Advisory Board to carry out UKRIO’s programme of work. We also co-ordinate the volunteer experts that support the work of the charity and liaise with the many organisations that subscribe to UKRIO.
