Deadline Extended: Join UKRIO Workshops to Improve Authorship Practices
We are pleased to announce that the deadline to submit an Expression of Interest (EOI) for UKRIO’s upcoming workshops on improving authorship practices has been extended to 14 February 2025. This extension allows us to ensure a diverse range of perspectives from across the research community are represented.
We are especially interested in hearing from stakeholders representing:
- Research funders, publishers, small specialist Higher Education Institutions, Learned Societies, GLAM (Galleries, libraries, archives, and museums)
- The Arts, Humanities, and Physical Sciences
- Business and management studies, Criminology, Cultural and media studies, Leisure hospitality and tourism, Library and information science, Maths and Statistics, Sport and exercise sciences, and Veterinary sciences
Why Participate?
Authorship is essential to research, yet disputes frequently arise, affecting researchers, careers, and research culture. These workshops provide a valuable opportunity for research stakeholders with experience in authorship disputes to collaborate on practical tools to improve authorship practices, including:
- Guidance on authorship challenges
- A model procedure for resolving authorship disputes
- A template authorship agreement
