Live online training sessions on key topics in research integrity


UKRIO hosts Training Webinars for its subscribers – live, one-hour sessions supporting professional growth and a strong research culture. Delivered by UKRIO-affiliated professionals or external experts, these webinars provide practical skills, insights, and guidance to help attendees enhance their research practice and foster integrity within their teams.

Across 2025–2026, we will host four Training Webinars covering topics such as researcher wellbeing, managing misconduct allegations, and establishing effective ethics committees.

Format: Online webinar, hosted via Zoom

Access: Members of UKRIO subscriber organisations only; registration required

Who can attend?
These sessions are open to members of UKRIO subscriber organisations. Only registrations using email addresses associated with an active subscriber organisation (e.g., name@university.ac.uk) will be accepted. Registrations from other addresses will be cancelled.

How much does it cost?
These sessions are free for UKRIO subscribers.

Are sessions recorded for later viewing?
Yes. Recordings are made available to members of UKRIO subscriber organisations, usually within two weeks of the live session. UKRIO reserves the right to determine dissemination and publication.

How can I access these sessions?
Registration links for upcoming sessions are available on the webpage above and will redirect you to Zoom. After registering, your submission will be reviewed to ensure it meets our email domain policy (see above). Approved registrants will receive a confirmation email with a link to join the session.

Can I ask questions?
Yes, we encourage you to engage as much as possible during these sessions. They feature dedicated Q&A sections. You can submit questions via Zoom’s Q&A function. We kindly request that all questions remain respectful and on topic.

Are live captions available?
Live captions will be available in English and can be enabled via the attendee’s Zoom page.

Can I ask for advice or raise concerns about a situation during one of these events?
Yes – In the interest of confidentiality, please direct these matters to our Advisory Service.
