Throughout the year, UKRIO hosts a series of Expert Webinars where leading figures in the research community share insights on key issues in research integrity. These events give attendees the opportunity to learn about the latest developments and examples of best practice to support their work.
Across 2025/2026, we will host guests speaking about topics such as authorship, non-genuine participants in online research, fostering positive research culture, and whistleblowing in research settings.

Format: Online webinar, hosted via Zoom

Who can attend a UKRIO webinar?
UKRIO webinars are open to all.
How much does it cost to participate in a UKRIO webinar?
UKRIO webinars are free to attend.
Are webinars recorded for later viewing?
Webinars are recorded and selected presentations and recordings from past webinars are posted on our YouTube channel, typically within two weeks of their live presentation. We reserve the right to make decisions on dissemination and publication.
What is UKRIO’s position on its speakers’ views?
UKRIO is an apolitical organisation and does not provide a platform for political views. Any views, advice or recommendations expressed in its online events are those of the speakers alone and should not be taken as an endorsement from UKRIO.
How are live webinars accessed?
Upon registration via UKRIO’s website, you will receive a confirmation email. You will also receive reminder emails in the lead-up to the event. On the day and time of the webinar, log in using the link provided in the emails.
Can I ask questions?
Yes, we encourage you to engage as much as possible with the webinar. Expert Webinars typically feature dedicated Q&A sections at the end of presentations. You can submit questions via Zoom’s Q&A function. We kindly request that all questions remain respectful and on topic.
Will I receive a certificate of attendance?
At this time UKRIO is unable to send certificates of attendance to attendees.
Are live captions available?
Live captions will be available in English and can be enabled via the attendee’s Zoom page.
Can I ask for advice or raise concerns about a situation during a webinar?
