Save the date: UKRIO annual conference, 19-20 May 2021

In light of the ongoing pandemic, UKRIO has taken the decision to host our next Annual Conference entirely online, building on the successes of our monthly virtual research integrity webinars which we have held since May 2020.

Professor Dame Ottoline Leyser, the Chief Executive of UK Research and Innovation and Regius Professor of Botany at the University of Cambridge, will open our virtual conference, which will take place across two days on Wednesday 19 and Thursday 20 May 2021.

UKRIO’s annual conference is the principal research integrity event in the UK and, since 2013, has been an essential resource for the research community and policy makers.

The theme of our eighth annual conference for our subscribing institutions and invited guests will be ‘good research practice in a changing world’. Speakers will  discuss: how to support a culture of high quality and ethical research, now and in the future; how to respond to issues of poor practice and fraud; and debate how best to support good research practice in this uncertain times and beyond.

The conference will also enable delegates to share their own experiences, as well as updating them on key developments in research integrity.

More details to follow in the new year.

Please note that our 2021 annual conference is for staff and research students at UKRIO subscriber institutions only.

If you are not sure if your organisation is a subscriber, a list can be accessed here. If your institution would like to learn more about the benefits of supporting UKRIO, please contact us.
