UKRIO holds second annual conference
On Friday 23 May, UKRIO held the second annual conference for its subscribers. Over 80 delegates – research integrity specialists, managers, researchers and others – discussed how to ensure research in universities, the NHS and the private sector is conducted in accordance with best practice.
Speakers from UKRIO and other experts in research integrity explored how to promote good research practice, and how to avoid common issues and pitfalls, drawing on UKRIO’s unique and extensive experience. The conference provided a forum for delegates to discuss the issues which mattered to them and share their own experiences, as well as seek advice from UKRIO.
Initial feedback on the event has been very positive and we look forward to building on its successes at our next conference in 2015.
Further information on the event, including presentations and handouts can be found here. A report on the conference is in preparation and will be available here shortly.
UKRIO would like to thank the speakers and delegates for making the day a success.
