Relocation of the UK Research Integrity Office

UKRIO today transfers from its host organisation, Universities UK, and becomes a company limited by guarantee. There will be no break in the continuity of UKRIO’s services and it will continue to provide independent and expert advice to research organisations, researchers and the public.

Neither our change in status nor our relocation will compromise the confidential nature of UKRIO’s services. Premises for UK Research Integrity Office Ltd. will be provided by the University of Sussex but UKRIO will remain a separate organisation and will not share sensitive information regarding its work with the University or any other third parties.

Over the past four years UKRIO has established the service that it set out to provide: expert support for the research community and the public where there was none. This new development will strengthen its capacity and scope to serve all involved in research.
