Are you a creative, motivated professional with a talent for building partnerships that support purpose-driven work?

UKRIO is recruiting a Partnerships manager who will help drive the next phase of our growth, building new relationships, securing new income opportunities, and helping us expand our impact across the research sector.

In this role, you will play a key part in strengthening UKRIO’s financial sustainability, developing strategic partnerships, and advancing our mission to support ethical and responsible research.

About the role

This position offers a unique opportunity to: 

  • build and manage relationships with partners, funders, sponsors, and stakeholders across the research, higher education, charity, public, and private sectors
  • identify and secure new income opportunities, including grants, sponsorships, partnerships, and commissioned work
  • develop compelling funding proposals, partnership propositions, and cases for support that communicate UKRIO’s impact and ambitions.

What we are looking for

You’ll thrive in this role if you: 

  • have experience in income generation, business development, fundraising, partnerships, or stakeholder engagement
  • are a confident communicator with strong writing, relationship-building, and networking skills
  • enjoy identifying opportunities, developing new ideas, and working collaboratively to deliver meaningful impact.

💷 Permanent full-time role (1.0 FTE) | £40,000 – £42,000 FT per annum
