UKRIO is recruiting an Operations Manager to play a central role in ensuring the smooth, effective, and compliant running of the organisation during an exciting period of growth and development. This pivotal role will see you lead UKRIO’s core operational functions, strengthen governance and compliance, and introduce new ways of working that maximise impact with limited resources.

About the role

This position offers a unique opportunity to: 
• Lead and coordinate UKRIO’s core operations, including governance, finance, procurement, HR, and organisational policies
• Support charity governance and compliance, including acting as Secretariat to the Board and Committees
• Introduce new ways of working, with a particular focus on digital tools and operational efficiency
• Review, commission, and manage relationships with external suppliers
• Support the CEO and Trustees in meeting their legal and regulatory responsibilities.

What we are looking for

You’ll thrive in this role if you: 
• Have experience in an operations, governance, or closely related role
• Are highly organised, detail-orientated, and proactive in identifying and solving problems
• Have experience using digital tools or systems to streamline organisational processes
• Understand charity governance and compliance, and are comfortable supporting a Board
• Enjoy working in a small, fast-paced, mission-driven organisation.

Key details

📍 Hybrid role – London Euston (2 days per week in office) 
🕓 Full-time, permanent contract
💷 £36,000–£42,000 (dependent on experience)
