Celebrating UKRIO’s Trustees During Trustee Week 2025

07 November 2025

This Trustee Week (3–7 November 2025), UKRIO joins charities across the UK in celebrating the dedication and expertise of trustees – the volunteers whose guidance and leadership help charities flourish.

At UKRIO, our Trustees play a vital role in steering the organisation’s strategy and programme of work. Under the leadership of our Chair of Trustees, Professor Dame Linda Partridge, the Board helps ensure that our activities remain responsive to the evolving research landscape and that our guidance reflects both current challenges and emerging opportunities in research integrity. Working closely with UKRIO’s leadership, the Board provides oversight, strategic direction, and assurance that the charity continues to serve the research community effectively and responsibly.

The strength of our Board lies in the breadth of perspectives and experience it brings. Our Trustees include leaders and experts from across academia, government, research policy, law, medicine, and public engagement. Together, they help shape the diversity of thought and depth of knowledge that underpin UKRIO’s ability to provide practical, evidence-based, and up-to-date advice on good research practice.

We are deeply grateful to all our Trustees for their time, insight, and commitment. Their collective expertise ensures that UKRIO remains a trusted, independent voice for research integrity in the UK and beyond.

Expanding Our Board of Trustees

As we celebrate the contributions of our existing Trustees, UKRIO is also preparing to expand its Board. We will soon be seeking three new Trustees to join us in guiding the next phase of our work to support and strengthen research integrity.

Further details about these opportunities will be announced in the coming weeks on our website and social media channels.
