UKRIO Launches the Authorship Integrity Toolkit

The UK Research Integrity Office (UKRIO) is delighted to announce the launch of its Authorship Integrity Toolkit – a practical suite of resources to help research contributors uphold responsible authorship practices.

Commissioned by UK Research and Innovation (UKRI) and developed through a cross-sector project led by UKRIO, the toolkit draws on input from a wide range of contributors across disciplines and sectors. It has been designed to be clear, adaptable, and easy to use in different research contexts.

The toolkit includes:

  • Guidance on good practice in authorship
  • A model dispute resolution procedure
  • A template authorship agreement

All resources are free to access and available to download from our website.
