Kathryn Dally joins UKRIO as Director of Programmes

We’re pleased to announce the appointment of Kathryn Dally as UKRIO’s new Director of Programmes on a fixed term basis. This role is central to delivering our mission to support the research community and uphold the highest standards of integrity across all disciplines.
From now until February 2025, Kathryn will lead the coordination and delivery of UKRIO’s growing portfolio of projects and initiatives, working closely with colleagues, stakeholders, and our expert volunteer community. She brings a values-led and highly practical approach to this work, grounded in deep expertise in research policy and integrity.
Kathryn joins us from the University of Oxford, where she was Research Integrity and Policy Lead and Head of the Research Ethics and Integrity Team. In that role, she oversaw the University’s research ethics committees, developed institutional integrity policies, and acted as Oxford’s principal adviser on research integrity.
A respected voice in the field, Kathryn has contributed to national and international policy through her membership of groups including the Russell Group Research Integrity Forum and the League of European Research Universities’ Research Integrity Policy Group.
We are delighted to welcome Kathryn to UKRIO and look forward to working with her as we expand and strengthen our programmes in support of the highest standards of integrity.
