UKRIO to Launch New Research Integrity Online Training Course in Spring 2025

UKRIO to launch new research integrity online training course in Spring 2025
We are excited to share we will be launching an Introduction to Research Integrity online training course for UKRIO subscribers in Spring 2025. This four-module course, refined through a pilot with nearly 9,000 participants, offers a strong foundation in research integrity principles and practical guidance on how to apply them effectively.
Strengthening our support for subscribers at a critical time
Research integrity training is essential for research institutions. It is a key enabler of good research practice, equipping research practitioners to produce work of the highest quality, integrity, and efficacy – and is increasingly a requirement for research funding. We recognise the financial challenges our subscribers are facing can mean that investments in research integrity are sometimes deprioritised. However, these constraints can also increase the prevalence of poor research practice, making it more critical than ever to secure robust research integrity training.
With this in mind, we are making our Introduction to Research Integrity online training course as accessible as possible for subscribers—offering up to 1,000 free places, based on subscription tier, along with discounted rates for additional enrolments.
Building on our pilot program, we have significantly increased the number of free places to better support our subscribers during challenging times. This initiative enhances our value-for-money, ensuring subscribers have access to high-quality research integrity training when they need it most. This course is the first in a suite of new training materials we will roll out over the next year. For additional details on the course offer, please see below.
