Published Guidance

UKRIO publishes guidance on research integrity, from good practice in research to standards for the investigation of alleged misconduct. Our publications reflect good professional practice and draw upon our unique expertise and considerable experience of supporting research integrity across all subject areas.

Use of our published guidance is voluntary, not mandatory. UKRIO’s aim is to help organisations and researchers consider how best to support integrity in their research, rather than prescribe rigid solutions or impose particular systems. This approach has been welcomed and our publications have been adopted or used by many leading research organisations, including over 50 universities.
