UKRIO is responding to the inquiry by the House of Commons Science and Technology Committee into clinical trials and the disclosure of trial data.
The inquiry includes questions about the proposed changes to the European Clinical Trials Directive; the role of the Health Research Authority; and the debate about the transparency and disclosure of clinical trial data. Further information on the inquiry can be found here.
UKRIO’s response will be made available online once the House of Commons has published the evidence. Meanwhile, our general views on the debate about clinical trial data can be found here.
Update: written submissions to the inquiry, including UKRIO’s, have now been published on the Science and Technology Committee website.
